In order to ensure digital transformation in companies; It is of great importance to analyze their current situation, determine their digital transformation needs, and prepare their own roadmaps in line with these needs. In this context, an important initiative has been launched to determine how businesses will determine whether they are in a position of adaptation or non-compliance with the digital age, in other words, to enable them to measure digital maturity. We set out to understand how much digital transformation institutions have made and to evaluate strategies. As a result, digital transformation is a long journey to success for businesses and it is one of the most critical issues for companies to know where they are on this journey. Today, every company is trying to implement a digital transformation of its own in this journey. A New Era Has Started With Digitalization

EGİAD In the opening speech of the meeting, Deputy Chairman Kaan Özhelvacı stated that digital transformation is a social need in line with the opportunities offered by rapidly developing information and communication technologies, and said, “Since digital transformation requires agility and adapting to new conditions and expectations, even the most successful organizations have difficulty in completing their transformation fully. The digital transformation process is not easy because there is no single and ready-made package solution. Technology is changing fast, but changing habits is very difficult. Digital transformation also requires thinking about the past, present and future at the same time. There is no escape from digital transformation, whether it is SME or large enterprises. Every business should accelerate its activities with the concept of digital transformation and start to implement transformative initiatives. There are different reasons for achieving the digital transformation, which happens so quickly and whose changes can be seen everywhere. I would like to enumerate the main ones in 5 items. We can list these as the rapid change in consumer purchasing behavior, The efforts of smaller and more agile companies to carry out these processes before your business, The rapid growth of digitally leading companies from your market share, The expansion of the competition area, The personalized experience expectation of consumers. Considering these items, it is clear that the possible effects of digital transformation cover all industries. Organizations need to continue existing services and develop strategies to manage the change in the analog-to-digital mix. Therefore, businesses must establish an overall development direction and implement digital innovations, while remaining active in evaluating and optimizing existing business opportunities. To achieve digital transformation, they must develop their ability to continually learn as an indispensable prerequisite for coping with change and successfully innovating. Companies that make their digital transformation investments in advance and implement them in their processes will find the opportunity to adapt their activities more easily. Those who did not make these investments highlighted the digitalization investments in their agenda. At this point, the balances in political, economic and social life in the world have changed; We are in a period in which the digital age has truly begun and efforts for sustainability gain momentum. In this process, we observe that companies that have invested in digital transformation earlier are differentiated.”

Yaşar University Technology Inc. Consultant Selçuk Karaata, on the other hand, stated that the production paradigm has changed tremendously in the world and said, “Reindustrialization is adopted as a strategic approach. Executing and maintaining the industrial internet requires a long-term transformation process. Industry 4.0 is a journey. This journey represents the transformation of the entire value chain, driven by new technologies and new collaborative management models.”
