UPS announced the appointment of Cathy O'Brien as UPS Healthcare's new Vice President of International Sales. Cathy will be responsible for managing growth in Europe, AMEA and Latin America, including Turkey, for an end-to-end supply chain service dedicated to supporting the pharmaceutical, medical device, laboratory and dental segments.
O'Brien said: “We invest in supporting our clients' important shipments, which are among the most complex and sensitive medical treatments. These critical treatments require near-perfect and flexible service. Our leading network and technology will play a crucial role in delivering quality end-to-end service that ensures delivery at the right time and at the right temperature.”
UPS Healthcare is rapidly growing its global footprint. UPS recently announced plans to acquire the Bomi Group, which has temperature-controlled facilities in 14 countries in Europe and Latin America, including Turkey, which will add approximately 3.000 highly skilled Bomi team members. With this acquisition formally completed by 2023, UPS Healthcare will have doubled the coverage of its facilities since 2020.
