Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Children's Assembly New Term Applications Started

Applications for the new term of the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Children's Assembly have started. The 9th term members of the Children's Assembly, where children between the ages of 14-29 can apply until October 2022, 27, will be determined by the election to be held on November 6th.

The new term application process of the Children's Assembly, where children from the capital city can freely express their views, ideas and solution proposals, and learn about children's rights by taking a recommendation decision, has begun.

The application process, which started on September 26, will end on October 29, and the new term members of the Children's Assembly will be determined by the election to be held on November 6.

APPLICATIONS CAN BE MADE ONLINE UNTIL OCTOBER 29

Primary or secondary school students between the ages of 27-9 who want to be a member of the 14th Term Children's Assembly can apply through the address cocukmeclisibasvuru.ankara.bel.tr.

After the election of 6 new members in the elections to be held on November 150, the 27th Term Children's Assembly will start its duty.

Candidates who apply online will prepare a video in which they introduce themselves, not exceeding 27 minute, for the 1th term membership and send it to abbcocukmeclisi06@gmail.com.

Until the election day, children will try to collect votes by explaining their name, surname, school, class information, interests and their goals to enter the parliament with a video to be published on the Instagram page of the Children's Assembly.

Head of the Department of Women and Family Services, Dr. Serkan Yorgancılar stated that the children of Başkent will have the experience of electing and being elected thanks to the Children's Assembly and said, “We have started the election of members for the 27th term of our Children's Assembly. You can submit your candidacy applications online until 29 October. All children in the 9-14 age group can apply for candidacy. We invite all our children from Ankara to this democracy feast,” he said.

CHILDREN WILL JOIN THE CITY MANAGEMENT

Children, who will enter an exciting election atmosphere to vote for the candidates they want to serve in the Children's Assembly, will have experienced a democratic election process at a young age.

After the elections to be held on November 6, 150 council members who gathered the most votes will begin their work in the Children's Assembly building in Sıhhiye. New members will have the opportunity to actively participate in the city administration by producing child-friendly projects, especially on children's rights.

The members, who had this experience before, invited the children from Başkent to the Children's Assembly with the following words:

Alperen Yildiz: “If you want to take part in the Children's Assembly of our child-friendly municipality, and if you think that children should be consulted while making decisions, apply to join the assembly. Only children make decisions in this assembly.”

Ayşe Beliz Temizer: “I invite all children who say that we are in the decisions to be taken to apply for the membership of the Children's Assembly of our Metropolitan Municipality in its 27th year.”

Wind Karaton: “Last term at the Children's Council was my first year and I gained a lot here. That's why I decided to run for re-election. I invite our friends who go to primary and secondary school between the ages of 9-14 to experience this excitement. The Children's Assembly cannot be described, it is lived.”

Neva Dormitory: “I was elected vice president last year. This year, I want to be a member of parliament and I will participate in the elections again.
