Continuing its efforts to make Ankara the Capital of culture and art, the Metropolitan Municipality opened the theater season with Haldun Taner's play 'I Close My Eyes, I Do My Duty'. The play directed by Erdal Ozan Metin met with art lovers at ABB City Theaters in Youth Park.

Başkent Theaters, affiliated to the ABB Culture and Social Affairs Department, started the new season with its new name 'Ankara Metropolitan Municipality City Theatres'. One of the veteran writers of Turkish theater, Haldun Taner's play 'I Close My Eyes, I Do My Duty' premiered at the ABB City Theaters in Youth Park.

Erdal Ozan Metin, Deputy Art Director of the Department of Culture and Social Affairs, who is the director of the play 'I Close My Eyes, Do My Duty', said, “Today, we are opening the city under the name of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality City Theatres. Our first game; 'I Close My Eyes, I Do My Duty'. It is one of the veteran plays of the Turkish theater and is one of the universal plays that have been translated into many languages ​​in the world. It was my responsibility to direct this play as the first play of the City Theatre. As an actor, I am very excited about this. The game has a universal story; It tells about Vicdani and Efruz's life.”

Noting that they wanted to reach the neighborhood of Ankara, Metin continued as follows:
