In the study, using the search and reservation data of users in 81 provinces on the platform, the holiday regions that domestic tourists are most in demand during the summer months were determined. In the published report, it is pointed out that citizens generally stay in their own regions instead of preferring distant destinations for vacation. It is noted that the Aegean, which is one of the most visited regions along with the Mediterranean, is the first choice of tourists in metropolitan cities such as Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir in the summer months.
