For the project, where preparations for short films and books are ongoing, Bilkent University students visited the works in Ankara's UNESCO values ​​Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque, Arslanhane Mosque and Atatürk Boulevard and got information from the expert teams of the Department of Cultural and Natural Heritage.

SHORT FILMS WILL BE SCREENED AT ANKARA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

After the tour, Dr. from Bilkent University. Andreas Treske and Yusuf Akçura will prepare 3-minute short films with his students. The films will be screened for the first time at the Ankara International Film Festival, which will take place in November.

Short films to be made by Bilkent University Fine Arts and Design Faculty students will be prepared in workshops attended by directors from the Ankara Film Festival team.

ENGLISH-TURKISH BOOK WILL BE PREPARED

The Department of Cultural and Natural Heritage continues to work on a book in the form of a catalog that describes the brief history of Ankara's sites and structures on the World Temporary Heritage List. The book is planned to be published in both English and Turkish.

Prepared works; It is planned to use the cultural properties on the 'temporary list' for the transition to the 'permanent list' at the diplomatic meetings to be held in Ankara and UNESCO headquarters in Paris.
