Work continues on the second highway bridge, the construction of which was started in order to relieve the heavy vehicle traffic in Fatsa Organized Industrial Zone. Fatsa Mayor İbrahim Etem Kibar went to the second bridge construction site together with the District President İsa Yüksel and received information from the contractor company authorities about the works carried out.

Fatsa Mayor İbrahim Etem Kibar, who made a statement after his examination on the bridge construction, said, “One of the most important problems of our Organized Industrial Zone was transportation. Hopefully, the second highway bridge, which will provide great relief in the direction of traffic here, will be put into service in a short time. The project, whose foundations were laid about a month ago, is planned to be completed by the end of the year. Our bridge is 154 meters long and 15 meters wide, and it will not only provide relief on highways, but also pedestrianization work will be done so that our citizens can walk for 5 meters, especially in terms of pedestrian traffic, I wish good luck.” said.
“OUR MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION DID NOT DOUBLE OUR REQUEST AND GIVEN INSTRUCTIONS IMMEDIATELY”
Stating that they conveyed the problem in the Organized Industrial Zone to the Minister of Transport, Adil Karaismailoğlu, President Kibar said, “We have stated to our Minister that the construction of the second highway bridge will provide great relief in terms of road traffic as well as for Fatsa Organized Industrial Zone. He also very quickly gave orders for the bridge to be operational as soon as possible. Our company to be loaded over this came, it set up its construction site and started its work. As of yesterday, the foundations of one foot of the bridge were laid. Bored pile works continue uninterruptedly. I hope that the bridge of our Organized Industrial Zone, which will enter the service of our Fatsa by the end of the year, will be beneficial.” he said.

Adding to his words that there will be intersection works that will give Fatsa traffic a great deal of breath, reduce accident rates and lighten the load at the same time, Mayor Kibar said, “There is a special study prepared by our General Directorate of Highways at our 6 intersections. Hopefully, as of next week, before the summer, when the tender will be held, improvement works will be carried out at all intersections in that region where the most accidents occur in our city. In addition, the traffic load in our city will be lightened, and the accidents will also be reduced. Let's give the good news that it will start soon.” said.
