It has been deemed appropriate to make the following statements against the unfounded allegations made in social media posts.
Mass grave excavation preparations are a routine practice, especially for metropolitan cities. Especially in cities with a population of more than 2 million, such as Gaziantep, where there are at least 35 funerals per day, this situation is essential for the development of funeral services.
In addition, Gaziantep is among the provinces in Turkey that should prepare a certain amount of graves to be used in case of an extraordinary disaster and report them to the AFAD Presidency.
