Citizens living in the districts of Samsun are waiting for the Public Transportation Transfer Center to be put into service, which will enable them to reach the city center with a single vehicle. Citizens, who are waiting for the news of the opening date from the Metropolitan Municipality, are experiencing the joy of the center to be opened in the process when transportation fees become expensive. After the minibus shopkeepers, the citizens expressed their joy and stated that they would be comfortable both in terms of time and economy.

This ordeal of the citizens, who reach the city center from the districts, and from the city center to the districts by changing a few vehicles, will end with the Public Transportation Transfer Center built by the Metropolitan Municipality. Passengers coming to the city from the eastern districts of the city get off at the last stop, Belediye Evleri Junction, while those living in the western districts get off at the Ondokuz Mayıs University tram station, while those living in the Southern districts get off at the bus station and come to the center by the second vehicle. Citizens change vehicles for the third time in order to reach the place they want to go. This brings a great economic burden to the citizens who use public transportation vehicles. Minibus tradesmen also suffer a great loss due to the decrease in the number of passengers.

COUNTING THE DAYS FOR THE OPENING

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality, which is preparing to solve the transportation problem of driver tradesmen and citizens with the Public Transportation Transfer Center, is counting the days for the opening. The citizens, who were excited about the opening of the transfer center, where they can come to the center with a single vehicle, thanked Metropolitan Mayor Mustafa Demir.

Voicing her thoughts about the center, which makes everyone from 7 to 70 happy, one of the citizens, high school student Gamze Fabric, said, “Thank God, we will finally get rid of changing 2-3 vehicles. Samsun-Carsamba Public Bus will now go up to the Metropolitan Municipality junction. Since we are students, it will be a great financial and moral convenience. Because the commute was very expensive. It's very nice right now. We will be able to go to the city center with a single vehicle and it will provide a significant advantage in terms of both economy and time. Thank you to our president," he said.

STUDENTS MENTIONED SATISFACTION

Yaren Akbaş, a student at Ondokuz Mayıs University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism, said, “Our faculty is on Wednesday. I have to change 3 vehicles while traveling to and from my family on weekends. This is both tiring and financially demanding. With this new center that will be put into service, I will be able to go home with a single vehicle. This has been a great convenience for me. I look forward to the day it opens. I would like to thank our metropolitan mayor Mustafa Demir, who saved us from this ordeal with his new investment.”

CITIZENS ARE VERY HAPPY

Şaziye Akkaya, a housewife living in Ladik, said, “When I go to Samsun, I get off at the bus station. Then I get on the car to the center. From there, I reach my destination by minibus. I went to Samsun 15 days ago. I am very bored. I waited for the vehicle for 1.5 hours at the bus station. I'm late for my hospital appointment. Hopefully we won't do it on and off. When we get off at the bazaar, we can go wherever we want. Our ordeal is over. May Allah be pleased with those who did not forget us and made the center “she used the expressions.
