Konya Metropolitan's Public Transport Fleet Strengthens with New Vehicles

Konya Metropolitan Municipality continues to strengthen its public transportation fleet with new buses. Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay said, “We continue to bring the most beautiful buses of Turkey to our city. With the last 16 buses, our number of new buses reached 51. Our new buses will be put into service quickly after plate processing. We do whatever it takes to provide the highest quality service in transportation to our citizens from Konya.” said. President Altay said that they have given additional flights to busy lines as of Monday, September 12, due to the start of the new academic year.

Mayor of Konya Metropolitan Municipality Uğur İbrahim Altay said that one of the most important issues that will affect people's lives in Konya, which is the biggest city of Turkey geographically, is public transportation activities.

NEW NUMBER OF BUS REACHES 51

Expressing that 91 buses, which were previously agreed to increase the quality and comfort in public transportation, continue to arrive gradually, Mayor Altay said, “Lastly, 9 new buses, 7 solo and 16 articulated, arrived yesterday. We continue to bring Turkey's most beautiful buses to our city. With the latest arrivals, our new bus number has reached 51. We do whatever it takes to provide the highest quality service in transportation to our citizens of Konya. Our newly arrived buses will also be put into service quickly after plate processing. Our new buses will continue to arrive every month. Best wishes." he said.

BUS TARIFF RE-ARCHINED

On the other hand, President Altay, who shared the information that with the start of the 2022-2023 academic year, additional flights to the lines with passenger density as of Monday, September 12, said, “Our bus schedule has been rearranged.
