Famous Russian underwater artist Olga Belka opened her first solo exhibition in Turkey at Spektr Boutique Hotel & Spa in Bodrum Yalıkavak on 12 August. While the exhibition was opened with the participation of Muğla Culture and Tourism Provincial Director Zekeriya Bingöl and art lovers, Belka attended the opening with a live link and answered questions about her works and creation process.

Yulia Kulieva, the manager responsible for Turkey operations at Spektr Hotel & Spa, who hosted the exhibition, said that as a group, they always stand by art and artists and that artistic events will continue throughout the year.

Belga, who has developed a special technique on her own over the years by combining her two passions, scuba diving and painting, is the only underwater portrait painter in the world who creates completely environmentally friendly works of art with insoluble paint in salt water. Between 2017 and 2022, Olga held 14 solo exhibitions all over the world, including Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, Turkey, Russia and Maldives, and attended 11 international art fairs and different events as a special participant and speaker.

Aiming to draw attention to the beauties of the underwater world and the need to protect the environment, Olga Belka's works containing exciting stories can be visited at Spektr Boutique Hotel & Spa until 15 October. Also in the exhibition is the 'Bodrum Rose', the artist's work created in one of the Bodrum bays.
