Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu announced that Türksat 6A's domestic and national production works continue, and that they aim to launch Türksat 2023A into space in the second quarter of 6.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu received information about the production stages of Türksat 6A, the domestic and national communication satellite, which is under construction. Karaismailoğlu, who examined the Türksat 6A satellite, said in a statement that they have invested 20 billion dollars in the last 183 years as a ministry.

Noting that they brought Turkey together with the most important projects of the world, Karaismailoğlu said that they completed very important processes in land, air, sea and railways. Karaismailoğlu stated that important studies have been carried out in the field of communication, the importance of which is increasing day by day in the world, and stated that Istanbul Airport became one of the 5G airports of Turkey and the world last week. Karaismailoğlu said, “We have announced important studies and are following the processes in order to switch to 5G with domestic and national opportunities in the coming days,” and also touched on satellite and space studies.

Explaining that the satellite works of the Ministry were carried out through Türksat AŞ, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu pointed out that Turkey's satellite studies made an impact in the world and that it was one of the rare countries that launched two new generation communication satellites into space in the same year.

ONE OF THE JOBS WE ARE PROUD OF TÜRKSAT 6A

Expressing that Türksat 2021A was launched into space at the beginning of 5 and was put into service in June, Karaismailoğlu stated that more than 30 percent of the world, especially television broadcasting, was served. Reminding that Türksat 5B was launched into space at the end of 2021 and was put into the service of Turkey and the world under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan last month, Karaismailoğlu stated that one of the most important and proud works is Türksat 6A. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Karaismailoğlu said, “Completely domestic and national production works continue. Our goal is to launch Türksat 2023A into space in the second quarter of 6. It continues to be produced entirely with the efforts of Turkish engineers and employees.”

Underlining that they are following the construction processes of Türksat 6A, Karaismailoğlu stated that important processes regarding the satellite have been left behind and the works are continuing rapidly. Karaismailoğlu said, "When we launch Türksat 2023A into space in 6, Turkey will be one of the top 10 countries represented in space by its own satellite."

Stating that the launch of the satellite will be done with Space X, Karaismailoğlu noted that the processes will continue even faster from now on. Emphasizing that satellite studies will continue to increase and Turkey will be one of the leading countries in this field, Karaismailoğlu stated that they will follow satellite studies with the understanding that "Those without a trace in space have no power in the world".
