The Route of the Nostalgic Tram in Izmir Has Been Temporarily Changed

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality made arrangements on the nostalgic tram line serving between Cumhuriyet Square and Alsancak Port for the events on September 100, where the 9th anniversary of the liberation of the city will be celebrated. From today until Monday, September 12, nostalgic trams will run between Gündoğdu Square and Alsancak Port.

As part of the ongoing preparations in the coastal area between Cumhuriyet Square and Alsancak Port, which will be the scene of the biggest celebration in history, the nostalgic tram line route was also arranged. It has been reported that the nostalgic trams, which run between Cumhuriyet Square and Alsancak Port every half hour, will serve between Gündoğdu Square and Alsancak Port from 15.00 today until Monday, September 12.

Nostalgic tram pleasure at the 91st IEF

Nostalgic trams will take their guests to the past at the Izmir International Fair, which will open its doors for the 2st time this year with the international gastronomy fair Terra Madre Anadolu on September 11-91. İzmir Metropolitan Municipality İzmir Metro A.Ş.'s Nostalgic Trams named “Çiğdem” and “Boyoz”, which attracted great interest from fair visitors last year, will tour Kültürpark as of September 2, when IEF opens.

The tours, which start every day from 18.00 and continue until 24.00, will last until Sunday, September 91, the last day of the 11st IEF. Nostalgic Trams, which will run every 15 minutes, will depart from across the Celal Atik Sports Hall.
