Maintenance work continues for the revision of the rail systems and the arrangement of the damaged ground at the level crossings, which are used extensively in the city center of Tarsus.
After the work done at the 100th Anniversary and Gazipaşa level crossing in the past days, the revision and arrangement process will be carried out by TCDD teams at the points where the rail system is located at the Fahrettinpaşa level crossing, where vehicle traffic is heavily flowing.
Mersin Metropolitan Municipality teams, on the other hand, will completely renew the asphalt floor, which forms the superstructure of the Fahrettinpaşa level crossing, as in other level crossings.
With the technical work and ground arrangement process to be carried out at the level crossing, safe passage of both drivers, individuals with special needs and other pedestrians, as well as trains, will be ensured.
Within the scope of the said activity, the Tarsus Fahrettinpaşa level crossing will be closed to traffic starting from 26 on Friday, August 18.00th until 27 on Saturday, August 12.00th.
