Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy stated that a train station in the town of Chaplyne was hit by a rocket attack by Russia, and that at least 15 people were killed and 50 injured in the attack.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy addressed the United Nations (UN) Security Council via videoconference on the 31st anniversary of Ukraine's independence. In his speech, Zelenskiy announced that a Russian rocket attack hit a train station in the town of Chaplyne, about 145 kilometers west of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine. Stating that the first aid teams are in the area, Zelesnkiy stated that at least 15 people died and 50 people were injured in the attack, adding that the loss of life could increase.
