Public Education Centers Await Our Citizens with Courses in 73 Different Fields

998 public education centers affiliated to the Ministry of National Education offer courses to 1 million citizens every month. Citizens can attend 81 thousand 73 different courses in 3 areas in 811 provinces. In the first seven months of 81, 998 million 2022 thousand citizens benefited from 7 public education centers operating in 570 provinces within the scope of lifelong learning by the Ministry of National Education.

Among the most preferred vocational courses are "computer management, home textile product preparation, beekeeping, traditional hand embroidery, Turkish hand embroidery, women's education in public education centers, which offer 73 vocational and technical courses in 2748 fields and 1063 courses in many fields in general." sewing clothes, decorative wooden ornaments and preparing decorative home accessories”.

Certificates in e-Government

All certificates obtained for the courses organized by public education centers can be accessed through the e-Government portal. Citizens who are newly entitled to receive a certificate or who want to re-take their old certificates can easily obtain their barcoded certificates through the e-Government portal without going to public education centers.

Minister Özer: Our first priority is to bring the course that our citizens want.

Making a statement on the subject, Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer said, “As the Ministry of National Education, we do not only provide education services to the education age population. At the same time, with 998 public education centers scattered all over Turkey, we take it as our top priority for our adult citizens to take the courses they want to their feet wherever they want and benefit from this service. By the end of the year, we will ensure that 12 million citizens benefit from these courses. Of course, one of the most important issues here is the demand and favor of our women in these public education courses. So far, we see that approximately 70% of our trainees are women. For this reason, we will offer all kinds of courses that our women need both to stand on their own feet in life and to participate in employment through public education centers. Hopefully, by the end of the year, we will have the happiness of reaching all our citizens with our 998 public education centers in this process.” said.
