Dentist Dr. from Medipol Mega University Hospital. Lecturer Özge Gürbüz explained the ways to protect dental health and tips for having white teeth;

By drinking acidic and colored drinks with a straw, you can reduce the harmful effects on teeth. Foods such as apples, carrots and pears that increase salivation and have a cleaning effect on tooth enamel help keep teeth clean and thus preserve their whiteness. Sugar-free gums, which increase saliva secretion and reduce the acidity formed after meals to normal levels, are effective in cleaning teeth.

Change your toothbrush regularly

Stating that whitening toothpastes should be used with the advice of a dentist, Gürbüz said, “To have white and bright teeth, you must first do regular dental care. Brushing your teeth at least twice a day, brushing your tongue, using hygiene products such as dental floss, interface brush, mouthwash regularly brings your teeth to the shape you want. You should also change your toothbrush at regular intervals.
