Realizing an unprecedented practice in Turkey with the Health Care Truck, Mercedes-Benz Türk met with truck drivers in Sakarya, the second stop of the event. The event, which was held at Yayla Trout Recreation Facilities in July, was met with great interest by the drivers.

1 internal medicine specialist, 1 physiotherapist and 2 barbers served the truck drivers throughout the day on the Health Care Truck, which was specially designed to meet the needs of the truck drivers in the best possible way. The internal medicine specialist, who performed the preliminary examination of the drivers, directed the people he deems necessary to health institutions for treatment. In the event, where the physiotherapist told the long-distance drivers about the movements they can do in the vehicle and the correct sitting positions, the barbers in the Health Care Truck carried out the hair and beard care of the drivers.

At the event, fault diagnosis of Mercedes-Benz trucks was also performed with the diagnostic device brought by the After Sales Services Department team.

Serra Yeşilyurt, Mercedes-Benz Türk Truck & Bus Marketing Communications and Customer Management Group Manager, said, “We returned to our driver activities, which we took a break during the Covid-19 pandemic period, with our Health Care Truck organization, which we held at Bi Mola Reşadiye facilities in Istanbul on May 26. About 200 people attended our second meeting, which we held with great interest in Sakarya, just like in Istanbul. We were also happy with the positive feedback we received after our Istanbul event and the request of all our drivers participating in our organization to continue the Health Care Truck application. We will continue to be with them in the future with the Health Care Truck, which we aim to contribute to the health and comfort of our drivers who spend most of their lives on the roads.”

The Health Care Truck, which will travel approximately 3.500 km, will meet with truck drivers at Manisa Sister's Place, Adana İpekyolu Recreation Facility and Hendek Sarıoğlu Çetin Usta Truck Truck Park in the upcoming period. Details about the next stop of the Health Care Truck will be announced on Mercedes-Benz Türk's social media accounts.
