Mars Logistics Publishes Corporate Sustainability Manifesto

Mars Logistics, one of the leading logistics companies in Turkey, which attaches importance to environmental, economic and social sustainability and works on these issues, has published its Corporate Sustainability Manifesto.

Mars Logistics, which integrates the understanding of sustainability into all the processes of the company, works in the fields of waste management, energy efficiency and reduction of CO₂ emissions. Hadımköy Logistics Center meets the energy needs of the facility with the Rooftop Solar Power Plant Project, and the landscaping and fire water needs with the Rainwater Harvesting Project. Mars Logistics, which has one of the youngest and largest fleets in Turkey, consisting of 2700 self-owned vehicles, has all vehicles in the fleet of environmentally friendly Euro 6 level. Mars Logistics, which carries out all its financial processes digitally with the Documentless Office Portal, prefers equipment and methods that will save energy in its warehouses, and uses paper pallets made of recycled paper instead of wooden pallets. All recyclable wastes are sent to recycling facilities, contributing to the recovery of waste.

With the wagon investment made at the beginning of 2022, Mars Logistics invested in rail transport, which is the mode of transport that produces the least emissions, and with this investment, it is the first company to export with its own wagons manufactured and registered in Turkey. Finally HalkalıRealizing the Kolin intermodal line, Mars Logistics will continue to invest in rail and intermodal transportation models and diversify its lines.

Mars Logistics, which attaches importance to the issue of social sustainability as well as environmental and economic sustainability activities, aims to improve education with the Smart Truck Smart Kids project, which started in 2017 and where a village is determined every year and comes together with the primary school students studying in the schools in that village, and the Equality Has No Gender project, which was launched at the beginning of 2021. and carries out projects on gender equality. Mars Logistics, which donates saplings to Aegean Forest Foundation and TEMA in order to prevent desertification of our country, reduce its carbon footprint, prevent global warming and increase oxygen resources, aims to provide social benefit with these projects.

Mars Logistics, which previously published the first Sustainability Report approved at the GRI C level in the Turkish logistics industry and wrote its second report at the GRI A+ level in the following year, is one of the top 10 companies in Turkey, and continues to work on its 2021 sustainability report.

The Corporate Sustainability Manifesto published by Mars Logistics is as follows:
