The steel pedestrian overpass project, which is planned to be built in Körfez Şirinyalı District by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality, has been prepared and the tender phase has been reached. It is planned to start the construction of the steel pedestrian overpass, which will be tendered in the coming days, after the tender is concluded and the site is delivered.
ACCESS TO THE BEACH WILL BE SAFE AND EASY
There is an existing overpass belonging to the Highways on the TEM Highway. With the overpass to be built by the Metropolitan Municipality as a continuation of the existing overpass, citizens who get off at the stop on the TEM Highway will be able to reach the beach with the new pedestrian overpass to be built on the railway. The overpass made by the existing Highways did not pass over the railway. With the new pedestrian overpass to be built as a continuation of the existing overpass, access to the beach will be provided over the railway.
ADDITIONAL EXTENSION ON OLD OVERHEAD
The steel pedestrian overpass with a bridge span of 27,64 meters will be built in addition to the existing steel bridge that provides the passage of highways. The overpass will provide a safe passage to the railway crossing and to the coast. Connection will be made with 66 tons of steel fabrication. The new overpass will be constructed using 70 cubic meters of ready-mixed concrete and 9 tons of ribbed steel.
