KARDEMİR Made a Profit of 2022 Billion Liras in the First Half of 2,29

Karabuk Iron and Steel Factories Inc. (KARDEMİR) made a profit of 2022 billion liras in the half year of 2,29.

In the statement made by the company's board of directors, as the first integrated industrial enterprise of the Republic of Turkey, we continue to work hard and create value in our 85th year. As we stated in our statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), our company achieved a net profit of TL 2022 billion according to the financial results of the first half of 2,29.

Our company, which achieved an EBITDA of 2021 billion TL in the first half of 2,08, increased its EBITDA to 54,1 billion TL with an increase of 3,21% in the same period this year. Sales revenues, on the other hand, increased by 101,7% compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 12,85 billion TL.

Despite the fluctuations in the national and international steel markets, we are closing the second quarter of 2022 with a profit above market expectations thanks to our transparent and secure sales policy, new product development efforts, marketing and export activities, strong management and financial discipline.

Our company, which stands out with the sustainability and efficiency-oriented investments we have commissioned within the company, as well as the activities we carry out in the environmental and social areas, continues to be one of the most important employment centers in the region, increasing its contribution to the country, region and city economy as the strength goes. Our company, which gives priority to domestically produced input with the principle of locality in production, prefers national opportunities in its supply chains.
