İBB will increase the number of 3 student dormitories opened last year to 2022 before the 2023-7 academic year. In total, it will host university students in 6 higher education student dormitories, 4 of which are girls and 10 are boys. Applications for the dormitories will begin on August 22.
Students can apply online at yurt.ibb.istanbul for dormitories with a bed capacity of 2 people. The results of the evaluation process will be available on the same website as of September 800.
IMM, which started to provide accommodation services to university students with the dormitories it opened last year, accelerated its efforts to host more students. IMM Dormitory services, which started with a capacity of 3 students in 622 dormitories, will continue in 10 dormitories this year with the opening of new dormitories. IMM, which serves university students with two dormitories in Avcılar and one in Beyoğlu Örnektepe, will also provide dormitories in Gaziosmanpaşa, Esenyurt, Bayrampaşa, Şişli, Eyüpsultan, Ümraniye and Maltepe districts. Having provided accommodation for 7 students with 622 new dormitories last year, İBB will increase its bed capacity to 2.
APPLICATIONS ON AUGUST 22
Applications for higher education student dormitories, which are served by the IMM Youth and Sports Directorate, will start online on August 22. Applications to dormitories, where only students from outside the city can stay, can be made at yurt.ibb.istanbul. Students will be able to access the criteria and answers to all application-related questions on the website. While each application requirement has a certain score, the criterion of martyrs and veterans' relatives is one of the important conditions.
HOW TO PROCESS PROCESS?
Students are given 22 days to apply, starting from 7 August. The application screen on the website will be open until 28:23 on 59 August. After the evaluation process, students will be able to access the results of their applications on the website of yurt.ibb.istanbul as of September 12, 2022. Students on the main list between September 15 - 21 (5 working days) and students on the reserve list between September 23 - 29 (5 working days) will be able to register at IMM Dormitories between 09.00 - 19.00. Those who arrive outside the specified dates or who submit incomplete registration documents specified on the website will not be registered.
BREAKFAST AND DINNER
Students will be able to find everything for their daily life and needs in the higher education student dormitories of IMM. As in the previous year, there will be morning and dinner opportunities in this period as well. The fee for the dormitories this year will be 950 TL, including breakfast and dinner. In addition to its affordable price, it is located close to universities and at central points. In this way, students will both feel safe and have easy access to shopping and sports centers, and areas where cultural and artistic events are held. In the dormitories, there are many common areas such as the library, study rooms, computer, study rooms, laundry, rest rooms, dining hall, infirmary and prayer room.
