Emirates has announced that it will begin serving passengers traveling to Bangalore with its flagship A380 from 30 October. Emirates will also be the first airline to fly to Bangalore's Kempegowda International Airport on the world's largest commercial aircraft, the A380. With the landing of the A380 model aircraft on the South India-Bangalore route, passengers traveling to and from this point will enjoy privileged and special services within a wider flight network. Bangalore will be the second city in India to be served by the iconic Emirates A380 aircraft. Passengers have been enjoying this private plane on Dubai-Mumbai flights since 2014.

The daily A380 flights will operate under flight number EK568/569 and will consist of three classes offering Economy Class seats as well as premium cabins in Business Class and First Class. The double-decker aircraft will begin service to complement daily flights EK777/564 and EK565/566, each of which is a modern wide-body Boeing 567 model. Flights EK564/565 will be operated by Boeing 777-200LR and Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, while flight EK566/567 will be operated by Boeing 777-300ER aircraft with First Class, Business Class and Economy Class seats.
