Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Goes to Tender for Demolition of TOGO Towers

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality took action regarding TOGO Towers, which has become the center of rent claims and has become the symbol of rent.

Following the decision of the 6th Chamber of the Council of State unanimously to reduce the towers to 1,50 precedent last month, ABB will go out to tender for the "Demolition of TOGO Towers for Recycling Materials" on September 1, 2022.

A new decision was taken about the TOGO Towers, which were sealed in 2019 by the Metropolitan Municipality with a court decision on the grounds of irregularities in the zoning change and shown as a symbol of rent.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality took action after the objection made by the Council of State against the decision of “reducing the 1,50 precedent” regarding TOGO Towers in the ABB Assembly was definitively rejected. A demolition tender will be held for the construction, which has been increased from 20 thousand square meters to 120 thousand square meters with hidden precedents.

DESTROY TENDER IS LIVE

On September 1, 2022, at 14.00, the Department of Science Affairs will go out to bid for the “Demolition Work of TOGO Towers for Recycling Materials” at the 1st floor Council Hall of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality.

The tender will be broadcast live on ABB TV with the social accounts of the Metropolitan Municipality.

Regarding the subject, ABB officials stated that only court decisions will be applied in all processes of TOGO Towers, which have become the symbol of rent, as it has been so far.
