Turkish Schools Closed in Saudi Arabia to Open

Studies have been started for the opening of Turkish schools operating under the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey in Saudi Arabia.

With the decision of the Saudi Arabian government, Turkish schools operating in the capital Riyadh and other provinces were gradually closed as of the end of the 2020-2021 academic year.

With the diplomatic contacts of the Turkish government and the initiatives of the Ministry of National Education, schools operating under the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey in Saudi Arabia are reopened.

Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer held a bilateral meeting with Saudi Arabian Education Minister Hamad Al Shaikh within the framework of his contacts within the scope of the "Transformation of Education Preliminary Summit", which he attended in Paris, the capital of France, and the situation of the schools was also on the agenda at this meeting.

As a result of the contacts of the authorities of the two countries, the studies on student admissions and other procedures will start in a short time.
