EGİAD Aegean Young Business People's Association brought ICF Turkey officials together with the business world by organizing an event titled "Coaching Actually", where coaching practices used in the business world were discussed. The business world showed great interest in the event, where experiences were shared on increasing the efficiency of institutions, changing perspectives and developing skills by increasing the leadership potential.

Changes and innovations due to globalization and technological developments; It has made it compulsory to increase performance in organizations, to make success sustainable, and most importantly, that managers and employees change and develop themselves. With the rapid change in the world, coaching has also managed to become a way to cope with this change.

Making the opening speech of the meeting EGİAD Alp Avni Yelkenbiçer, Chairman of the Board of Directors, stated that the business world needs coaching training more in today's conditions where change is felt in every field, and said, "In this period when fast and accurate decisions are needed, ICF Turkey aims to increase the awareness of individuals, teams, groups, businesses and ultimately the society. We aim to carry the perspective of the profession to the place it deserves. Globalization, the rapidly growing world of competition, changes and innovations in every field have forced all organizations to restructure, and managers and employees in businesses to constantly improve and change themselves to keep up with the times. Today's business world and management approach; It has ensured that the manager's development, support and guidance competencies gain importance instead of directing and supervising. For this reason, leaders have started to take titles such as guide, guide, team leader, mentor. Leaders who determine their direction, focus on their goals, and establish relations with their team towards the goal are the pioneers of change.

Expressing that coaching is a good tool to deal with changes EGİAD President Yelkenbiçer said, “The coaching process, which can focus on individuals, teams and groups, helps to see and test alternative ways to increase competence, decision-making and quality of life by increasing the level of awareness of the person.
