A walking and bicycle path project was initiated by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality between Köseköy and Sarımeşe in Kartepe. Continuing the projects that will increase the comfort of the city, the teams have completed the bicycle and walking path work in the Metropolitan. Concrete asphalt casting works of the meticulously carried out works have been completed. Landscape and lighting works will be started. After the press concrete work was completed in an area of 4,5 km, with an average width of 1.7 meters in the first stage, the 700-meter section was also completed in the second stage. Pressed concrete road construction with a total length of 2.7 km and an average width of 4.5 meters has been completed. Landscaping work will begin in the project.
TOTAL 9 KM OF BICYCLE AND WALKING ROAD
The work carried out by the teams of the Department of Parks and Gardens between Köseköy and Sarımeşe in Kartepe, the 2,7 km long 4.5 m wide pressed concrete bicycle and walking path concrete asphalt casting work has come to an end. Then, while it is planned to start lighting and landscaping works in the near future, it was informed that visual works will be carried out under the bridges. The teams will continue to work with the landscaping and lighting process.
