Aiming to facilitate traffic flow in the capital, the Metropolitan Municipality continues its free towing service, which it started more than 2 years ago.
On Eskişehir Road, Istanbul Road, Konya Road and Samsun Road, 4 different rescue vehicles belonging to the Department of Science and Technology continue to provide free service to drivers who are on the road, whose vehicle has broken down or who have had an accident, between 07.00 and 09.30 on weekdays.
'After the notifications to the capital 153, the teams go to the point where the accident occurred or the vehicle malfunctioned, taking the vehicle owners and vehicles to the nearest industry, taking into account traffic safety.
Orhan Boran, Vehicle Towing Service Officer, stated that they try to be there quickly when they need so that citizens do not become victims, and said, “As Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, we provide rescue service between 07.00-09.30 on weekdays. With our vehicles waiting on the Istanbul Road, Eskişehir Road, Konya Road and Samsun Road, we take the vehicles that break down or have an accident to the nearest repair shop.
Citizens expressed their satisfaction with the free car towing service launched for vehicles stuck on the road with the following words:
-Veysi Çelebi: “After my vehicle broke down in the morning, I called Başkent 153 and they came to tow the vehicles free of charge in a short time. They took my car to wherever I wanted. I would like to thank everyone who contributed."
-Turgut Coşkun: “I have seen that Ankara Metropolitan Municipality provides free towing service to vehicles whose vehicles have broken down or been involved in an accident. After my vehicle malfunctioned, I called Başkent 153 and they came to help in a short time. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this service.”
