Demirağ Organized Industrial Zone, which will offer job opportunities to thousands of people and will be the production base of our city, continues to receive new investments, while factory constructions are increasing in the areas where land allocation is made.

The Governor of Sivas, who made investigations in Demirağ Organized Industrial Zone, Dr. Yılmaz Şimşek toured the factories that are under construction.

Governor Şimşek, who received information from Demirağ OIZ Director Mustafa Beştepe about the drinking water, sewerage, electricity, telecommunication line and other infrastructure works that have come to an end, said that ABS Plaster-Block, Özpa Tekstil, Roos Kozmetik, Tezmaksan Makina, Uzay Makina, He visited BG Grup Prefabrik and Yiğit-Efe companies.

Target 40 Thousand Employment

Stating that a level of 98% has been reached in the ongoing infrastructure works, Governor Dr. Yilmaz Simsek; “Hopefully, our infrastructure works will be finished soon. Right after that, we will start our superstructure works, that is, our roads, within a month. Hopefully, the entire superstructure will be finished within a year. We have 225 parcels here. 70 of them have been allocated as of now. The constructions of our 7 factories, which we laid the foundations of, continue. Based on the constructions, we have reached the target of approximately 17.000 employments, according to our projections. Our ultimate goal is approximately 40 thousand jobs. When this region becomes fully operational, we will have achieved this employment target.” made statements.

Governor Şimşek, who made a call to the investors; “As of last December, with the appreciation and approval of our President, Demirağ OIZ was declared an Attraction Area and many advantages were offered to our investors. Our logistics center is adjacent to our organized industrial zone. This place will offer great opportunities and conveniences to our investors. I invite our investors to come to Sivas and take advantage of these opportunities, and contribute to the employment and production of our country and province.” said.
