China Launches Another New Satellite to Support Ecology Studies

The Beijing-3B satellite was launched on a Long March-11D carrier rocket from China's Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center at 01:2 today. The satellite was successfully placed in the predicted orbit and the launch mission was successfully completed. The satellite will provide data services in areas such as China's national land resources management, agricultural resources research, ecological environmental control. It was the 434th flight of the Long March rocket series on its final launch mission.

China last launched the Chuangxin-23 satellite, developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, on August 16 from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center with a Kuaizhou-1A carrier rocket.
