Children of Başkent Have Fun and Learn at the Kesikköprü Summer Camp

Students show great interest in the "Kesikköprü English Language Village Project" of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. The summer camp, which hosted 230 students in the first group and 246 students in the second group, now hosts 224 students. Students in the 12-16 age group have fun at the camp by participating in many activities from basketball to swimming, from football to table tennis, as well as English education.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality did not forget the students during the summer break. The Metropolitan Municipality, which has carried out works that prioritize equality of opportunity in education, hosts the third student group within the scope of the "Kesikköprü English Language Village Project".

Within the scope of the project jointly organized by the Department of Women and Family Services and the Seda Yekeler Education Foundation, students in the 12-16 age group are given English language training. The camp, which hosted 230 students in the first group and 246 students in the second group, now hosts 224 students.

The students, who participated in the camp to have fun and learn a foreign language during the summer vacation and had unforgettable moments, expressed their satisfaction with the following words:

Raziye Nur Kale: "I am 13 years old. I really liked Kesikköprü camp. I think I have improved my English and I found it very useful. The activities were also very nice, we had a lot of fun in the pool. I would like to thank Mansur Yavaş very much. I loved it very much, I hope we have a chance to go again next year.”

Feyza Kaya: "I am 15 years old. We had very good events. We had fun with our friends. We had lessons. Our lessons were productive, our instructors were very good.”

Berke Autonomous: "I am 10 years old. We had events in Kesikköprü. We sang, swam in the pool, had fun. I would like to thank our President Mansur Yavaş very much. I also improved my English.”

September Efsa Ozer: "I am 12 years old. It was really beautiful. We had so much fun. We had a lot of events. Many thanks to Mansur Yavaş. We learned to swim, took English lessons and improved our language. It was a very nice two week vacation. We came in sad and crying. I want to go again. I hope to go again next year.”

Ceylin Canoglu: "I am 13 years old. It was so much fun, we stayed with my friends. We had teachers and lifeguards. We had so much fun in the pool. Meals were also very tasty. English lessons were very good, I recommend it.”

Berra Melis Gokgoz: "I am 13 years old. It was very nice for staying with my friends. The pool, the environment, the teachers were all very good. I had so much fun. His training was also very good.”

Simay Kaplan: "I am 13 years old. It was beautiful, everything was perfect. The pool, the weather was beautiful. I have improved my English very well. Our teachers were pretty good too.”

Emir Karacal: “Camp went very well for me. I attended a lot of events. Our English lessons were also very useful.”

Kaan Kokoglu: “Camp was beautiful and fun. We both studied English and participated in many activities.”

PARENTS ARE SATISFIED WITH THE PROJECT

Parents who said that they are happy that their children who went to Kesikköprü Summer Camp both made new friends in the camp and contributed to their education life by learning English in a safe environment, expressed their feelings with the following words:

Zahide Young: “My grandson is going to Kesikköprü. We are so excited and happy that I can't explain. We got the information from the students in the first group, they came very happy. Many thanks to our president. I really want to hug my president. We love his projects, he surprises us every day. We learn something new every day.
