Bridge Junction Work Begins on GAP Boulevard with Fish Foot

Continuing its efforts to reduce the traffic density in the city, Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality will start the Bridge Junction work on the Fish Foot and GAP Boulevard after the Abide junction. At the intersections whose project work has been completed, construction works will begin as soon as possible after the tender process.

In line with the instructions of Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül, who continues to work to make the traffic flow in the city convenient and comfortable, the project work of the Fish Foot and GAP Boulevard interchange has been completed.

After the Abide Junction, which is the lifeblood of Şanlıurfa, an intersection work will be carried out by Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality and the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure on the GAP Boulevard, on the GAP and Balıkaağı boulevard. At the junctions where the project work is completed, the work will be started after the tender process.

When the intersections to be built on Balıkayak and GAP Boulevard are completed, a transit pass will be provided to Abide Junction and Şanlıurfa GAP Airport without signaling.

Underlining that they are determined to solve the traffic problem in the city center, Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeynel Abidin Beyazgül said, “We are determined to solve all the traffic problems of Şanlıurfa city center. We hit the Açıksu, Police, Akçakale Streets and Abide Junction with a scalpel. Now it's Fishfoot Boulevard. Together with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, we are adding another bridge junction to our city. Good luck,'' he said.
