Applications for the photography contest "Starts When Reaching", organized in cooperation with TCDD Tasimacilik and Turkish Photography Art Federation, have started.
The subject of the photography contest was determined as the visualization of high-speed trains, mainline and regional passenger trains and freight trains operated by TCDD Taşımacılık AŞ on the theme of "Starts Upon Arrival" in relation to passenger-journey, nature, history, architecture, development and technology.
The competition aims to convey the unifying and converging effects of trains, their nostalgic and photographic aspects, their role in the development of the country, their environmental friendliness, by using the expressive power of photography. In addition, it is aimed to strengthen the relationship of railways and trains, which have always found their place in literature, music and cinema, with the art of photography.
The competition, which will bring photographs with high artistic value to the archive of TCDD Tasimacilik, will also ensure that the historical and cultural beauties of the country are discovered and delivered to the masses with the art of photography.
The deadline for participation in the competition, in which each participant can send a maximum of 4 digital, color or black and white photographs, has been determined as October 31st at 23.00:1. Photos must have been taken after January 2020, XNUMX.
The results of the photography contest, which can only be participated online through the membership system at tfsfonayliyarismalar.org, will be announced on November 9th.
The TFSF Gold Medal and 10 thousand liras will be awarded as the first prize in the competition. The second prize was 7 thousand 500 TL, the third place was 5 thousand TL, and the honorable mention was 1500 TL.
The photographs that are appreciated for the exhibition will be rewarded with 500 TL.
The exhibition and award ceremony will be held in November.
