AIRCRAFT TRAFFIC EXCEEDED 7 MILLION IN 1 MONTHS

Minister of Transport, Karaismailoğlu, said, “The aircraft traffic that took off and landed in the January-July period was 442 thousand 152 in domestic lines and 369 thousand 482 in international lines. Thus, a total of 1 million 22 thousand aircraft traffic was reached with the overpasses. Compared to the same period of the previous year, total air traffic increased by 44.2 percent. 44 million 55 thousand passengers traveled on domestic lines and 52 million 386 thousand passengers traveled on international lines. The total number of passengers served with transit passengers in 7 months increased by 68,6 percent and reached 96 million 647 thousand. Freight traffic also reached 2 million 198 thousand tons.

INTENSITY CONTINUES IN TOURISM CENTERS

“In the January-July period, the number of passengers receiving service from the airports in our tourism centers, where international traffic is heavy, was 9 million 166 thousand in domestic lines and 16 million 137 thousand in international lines. Aircraft traffic, on the other hand, was 75 thousand 114 on domestic lines and 109 thousand 26 on international lines. Antalya Airport served a total of 3 million 380 thousand passengers, 11 million 858 thousand on domestic flights and 15 million 238 thousand on international lines. A total of 5 million 386 thousand passengers traveled at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport, 2 million 263 thousand passengers at Muğla Dalaman Airport, 2 million 16 thousand passengers at Muğla Milas-Bodrum Airport, and 399 thousand 408 passengers at Gazipaşa Alanya Airport.
