"Istanbul Songs", which made it to the finals of the Istanbul Song Contest, which was designed under the leadership of POPSAV (Popular Music Art Foundation) and Türker Advertising & Organization to bring a new repertoire to popular music culture, was performed at this special night in cooperation with the Istanbul Festival.
The final jury chose the top three finalists of the competition. As a result of the jury's evaluation, the song 'Hülya Gibi İstanbul', composed by Mine Mucur and performed by Nebi Birgi, won the third place. The song 'Istanbul', composed by Cenk Taşkan and interpreted by Uğur Etiler, was awarded the second prize. The winner of the Istanbul Song Contest was the song 'Istanbul Song' written and interpreted by İsmet Taşçeşme.
