The 2022 World New Energy Vehicle Conference will be held in the capital Beijing and Hainan province from August 26 to 28.
14 representatives from 500 countries and regions attend the conference, which is held online and offline. In addition to the technology exhibition covering an area of 13 thousand square meters, more than 20 panels are organized within the scope of the conference.
China's Deputy Minister of Industry and Information Technologies, Xin Guobin, pointed out that the new energy vehicle industry will be further developed and stated that the construction of charging stations will be accelerated.
Drawing attention to the importance of technological innovation in the development of the new energy-based automotive industry, Xin said that they will encourage companies to increase their R&D expenditures. Xin also noted that it will focus on advanced technology-based areas such as next-generation electrical/electronic architecture (EEA), automobile operating systems, high-precision sensors and battery raw materials.
Xin expressed that they will take more measures to maintain the stability of the supply chain.
China has created the largest battery charging network in the world with 3 million 980 thousand charging stations and 625 electric battery changing points.
