Bursa's Pride Bocce Athlete Two Sisters Met with Bursa Citizens

İnci Ece and Buket Öztürk Brothers, who are the pride of Bursa by returning with a gold medal from the 19th Mediterranean Games held in Algeria, met with Bursa citizens at the event organized by the Metropolitan Municipality.

In the event organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality in cooperation with the Bocce Bowling and Darts Federation Provincial Representative Office, İnci Ece and Buket Öztürk Brothers, who returned with a gold medal from the 19th Mediterranean Games, had the opportunity to introduce their sports to everyone with their show matches. In the event, which was held on July 15 Democracy Square and attracted great interest from the citizens, around 1000 people tried and got to know bocce and dart sports throughout the day. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which has implemented many projects for everyone from 7 to 70 to meet with sports and for the new generation to spend their free time with sports, once again undersigned a privileged event. In the event organized with the cooperation of Bocce Bowling and Darts Federation Provincial Representative, dart and bocce sports, which are not known much by the citizens but have been increasing in interest in recent years, were introduced to the citizens. In the event, in which all disabled and non-disabled athletes participated, the young people who were at the head of the dartboard competed for the first place.

After the bocce show of Bursa Metropolitan Belediyespor Club athletes, the show match of İnci Ece and Buket Öztürk Brothers, who are also world champions and returned with a gold medal from the last Mediterranean Games, was watched with interest.

Öztürk Brothers, who made Bursa proud by winning a gold medal at the Mediterranean Games, stated that such organizations are very important for the promotion of bocce and thanked Bursa Metropolitan Municipality for organizing the event.

Nihat Demir, Provincial Representative of the Turkish Bocce Bowling Darts Federation, also said that thanks to this event organized by the Metropolitan Municipality, they had the opportunity to introduce these sports to everyone, regardless of disability. Stating that the citizens also showed great interest in the event, Demir thanked the Metropolitan Municipality for its contributions.
