The third of the Electric and Hybrid Driving Week, which was held for the first time in Turkey in 2019, will be held in Istanbul between 10-11 September 2021. Within the scope of the event organized by the Turkish Electric and Hybrid Vehicles Association (TEHAD), automobile and technology enthusiasts will have the chance to experience electric vehicles on the track during a weekend. Turkey's first and only consumer experience-oriented driving event will be open to the public and free of charge. Within the scope of the event, financed by Garanti BBVA, September 9, 2022, World Electric Vehicle Day will also be celebrated.
The technologies of the future are now more common than ever before. Environmentally friendly, quiet and attractive electric cars are one of them. As the automotive industry evolves into mobility, important steps are being taken in Turkey to experience electric vehicles and to raise awareness of consumers by examining them more closely.

As part of the event, automobile and technology enthusiasts will have the chance to experience electric vehicles on the track for a weekend. In addition, it will be able to participate in many different events such as drone races, autonomous vehicle park and solar powered charging units.
All activities within the scope of the Electric and Hybrid Driving Week will be open to the public and free of charge.

Emphasizing the importance of September 9, which is celebrated as the day of electric vehicles worldwide every year, TEHAD President Berkan Bayram said, “The industry is evolving towards electric mobility. Every year, we celebrate the day of electric vehicles with a special event to raise awareness in this direction. We created this awareness with more than 5 thousand participants in the first two events of the Electric and Hybrid Driving Week, which we will organize for the third time this year. Last year, visitors made a total of 23 laps with 4 electric and hybrid car models on the track. This year, we aim to increase this figure much higher and increase the excitement.”

In addition to the great contributions of electric vehicles to the environment, important events are organized about new technologies and models developed in electric vehicle solutions, and automobile lovers are provided to experience them.
