A new application has been introduced for TCDD, High Speed Train (YHT) travels. In practice, passengers who will choose their seats will now choose according to their gender.

The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) made a change in ticket purchase options for High Speed Train (YHT) travels. In the system where ticket selection is made according to gender, passengers will choose their seats with 'male side' or 'female side' warnings.

The passenger, who had a situation related to the change in question, announced the event on his Twitter account. The passenger reacted to the new decision by stating that he could not get the last ticket because of the 'male side' warning.

The ban on "women's side" on high-speed train travel was terminated

In the new application, male and female passengers could now travel side by side. However, when choosing a seat in YHT, a passenger faced the gender obligation, just like in buses. A passenger, who could not buy the last train ticket due to his male side, reacted to the incident on his Twitter account. She also added a screenshot of the 'You cannot choose the male side' warning that appears on the female passenger share who wants to buy the last ticket on the train.
