Inspired by Uludağ, the “TAYK-Eker Olympos Regatta” sailing race will take place on the Moda-Tirilye-Moda route between 19-20-21 August.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, “TAYK-Eker Olympos Regatta” will be held by the Turkish Offshore Racing Club (TAYK) under the main sponsorship of Eker Dairy Products, in cooperation with Bursa Sailing Club and Moda Sea Club.
TAYK – Eker Olympos Regatta, organized to develop sailing in Bursa and to bring together Istanbul and Bursa sailors, will once again be the scene of competitive races.
The stage program of TAYK – Eker Olympos Regatta, which will be organized in three stages under the main sponsorship of Eker, will be as follows:
- 19 August 2022: Fashion – Tirilye
- 20 August 2022: Tirilye Bay Races
- 21 August 2022: Tirilye – Istanbul
The classification of the teams that will participate in the TAYK-Eker Olympos Regatta, which gives sailors who face different difficulties such as strong currents, effective waves or changing weather conditions, almost experience four seasons on the boat; It will be IRC 0, IRC I, IRC II, IRC III, IRC IV and Travel.
Over the course of three days, more than 30 sailboats and hundreds of sailors will compete for the place. The registrations of the race, where the boats that feel the wind best will reach the summit, can be made at “tayk.org.tr” after the registration process starts.
