Samsun Smart City Traffic Safety Project to be Completed by TEKNOFEST

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir, who examined the works of the Smart City Traffic Safety project, which is under construction, on site, said, “It will be one of the best projects in Turkey. We will complete our work until TEKNOFEST”.

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality continues its infrastructure investments within the scope of the 'Smart City Traffic Safety Project'. Intensifying their work to relieve traffic and speed up transportation, the teams attach great importance to intersections. The Metropolitan Municipality, which will manage the artificial intelligence system that will synchronize the traffic with digital cameras, plans to train the project, which it carries out in cooperation with ASELSAN, until the Aviation, Space and Technology Festival TEKNOFEST, which will be held between 30 August and 4 September.

TEAMS ARE WORKING CONTINUOUSLY

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir examined the junction arrangement works at Kılıçdede Junction, Canik Old Industry Junction and 100. Yıl Boulevard on site. President Demir, who received information about the latest situation from the teams, stated that they will solve transportation problems with traffic applications and information technologies, and said, “Our teams are working intensively at every point of the city before TEKNOFEST. The arrangements we made at the intersections in order to carry out the traffic flow in a fast and safe manner continue without any problems. It will be a project that will ensure safe and fast flow of traffic in Samsun and will be one of the best in Turkey.”
