The Metropolitan Municipality has taken all measures to ensure that citizens and visitors to the city can spend the Eid al-Adha comfortably and peacefully.
Environmental health and animal health teams, police, firefighter, cemetery and ASAT teams will be on duty during the Eid al-Adha. During the 4-day holiday and on July 15, vehicles with official license plates of the Metropolitan Municipality will carry passengers free of charge in public transportation. ANET social facilities and recreation areas will also serve during the holiday.
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality will provide sacrificial slaughter service at 3 points in order to perform the sacrificial slaughter process in hygienic environments. Citizens will be able to benefit from free sacrifice services on the 1st and 2nd days of the holiday at the Thursday Market in the Soğuksu District of Muratpaşa District, the Closed Wednesday Market in the Yeşilbahçe District and the animal market in the Döşemealtı Kömürcüler District. Serik, Elmalı and Kaş-Demre slaughterhouses of the Metropolitan Municipality will be open to citizens for slaughtering cattle on the first and second days of the holiday.
ANIMAL CAPTURE SQUAD
A team will stand by so that citizens who miss their sacrifices are not victims. Citizens will be able to ask for help by reaching the "Animal Catch Team" via the Alo Police 153 and 444 94 20 ABİM line.
FREE TRANSPORT ON HOLIDAY AND JULY 15
Mayor of Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Muhittin Böcekdecided to provide free transportation so that citizens can comfortably fulfill the tradition of festivities. Officially plated buses operated by the Metropolitan Municipality, Antray and the nostalgia tram will carry passengers free of charge during the 4-day Feast of Sacrifice and on July 15, Democracy and National Unity Day.
ASAT DAY READY
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality ASAT General Directorate also took the measures to the highest level. Citizens will be able to notify ALO ASAT 185, 0530 676 67 67 Whatsapp notification line for any malfunctions and complaints.
ZABITA PER DAY
During the holiday, the Police Department will be on duty. Police teams will take the necessary measures so that the public can visit the cemeteries comfortably. Complaints from citizens will also be responded to immediately. Citizens will be able to report their complaints to the police station ALO 153.
FIRE OFFICE 7/24
Fire Department teams will also be on duty during the holiday. 45 firefighters working at 652 stations, especially in the central group, will be ready for 24 hours against a possible fire. Citizens will be able to report fire alarms to the phone number 112.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH IN WORK
Metropolitan Municipality Environmental Health teams will continue their vectorial struggle, which they intensified before the holiday, during the holiday. In order to prevent the formation of flies that may increase due to animal waste, the teams that will be on duty will apply pesticides at the slaughter points. Animal waste from slaughterhouses will be disposed of.
SOCIAL FACILITIES AND REFERENCE AREAS OPEN ON HOLIDAYS
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality ANET A.Ş. The social facilities operated by the company will continue to serve on Eid al-Adha.
Antalya Metropolitan Municipality Tophane Tea Garden will serve between 1 -14.00 on the 24.00st day of the Feast of Sacrifice. On other days, it will be at the service of citizens during normal hours between 08.30-24.00. Tünektepe Social Facility and Cable Car Facility will not be able to serve during the holiday due to the maintenance and repair works started after the forest fire.
RESOURCES ARE IN SERVICE
Topçam and Sarısu Recreation areas operated by ANET A.Ş will continue to serve picnickers during the Eid al-Adha holiday. During the holiday, Topçam Recreation Area will be open between 06.00-21.00, Sarısu Recreation Area 07.00-21.00, Sarısu Women's Beach will be open between 08.00-19.00. On the other hand, Halk Meat Outlet Stores will be closed on the eve of the day between 09.00-19.00 and between 9-13 July.
