Red Crescent Kartal Hospital Nutrition and Diet Specialist Nurdan Çeliktaş listed the things to be considered during the Feast of Sacrifice. Çeliktaş said, “The meat of newly slaughtered animals has a hardness that we call "Animal death hardness". It causes problems such as bloating and indigestion in the stomach. How Meat is Cooked Affects Our Health

Nurdan Çeliktaş, Nutrition and Diet Specialist of Kızılay Kartal Hospital, said, “Although meat contains good quality protein, it does not contain some vitamins such as vitamin C. Excess meat consumption can also harm beneficial bacteria in the gut. In order to protect these bacteria, attention should be paid to pulp intake. Vitamin C increases iron absorption. For these reasons, it should be supported with vegetables, salads, legumes, yogurt, kefir, fruit for fiber and vitamin support. It is also important to pay attention to the way they are cooked. Raw or undercooked meats, for example, cause miscarriage in pregnant women and increase the possibility of contagious diseases that settle in people's bodies and become common to the foods they eat.
