Bornova Municipality is renewing the existing facilities while adding new sports fields to the district. Within the scope of the works, the football fields that serve amateur sports clubs in the district are being renewed. While the Yusuf Tırpancı Field was completely renovated from the ground to the locker room, the floors of the Martyr Er Tevfik Yasin Keser and Tatlı Mustafa Field were also renewed.

Work continues on the Bornova City Stadium, one of the symbols of the district. While the stands on the west side of the stadium were demolished and a second training ground was created, the floor of the main field was renewed and the scoreboard was changed.

Reminding that they attach importance to sports-related infrastructure and facilities in the district, Bornova Mayor Dr. Mustafa İduğ said, “There are 54 amateur sports clubs in Bornova. We bring our fields to professional standards for their use. We continued the work that we started with Yusuf Tırpancı Field with Şehit Er Tevfik Yasin Keser Field in Pınarbaşı and Tatlı Mustafa Field in Taç Sanayi. We have come to the end of the renovations of the City Stad.”
