'Holiday' Diving in Gemlik Bay

The 1st of July Maritime and Cabotage Day was celebrated with a diving program by the Metropolitan Municipality and Bursa Culture, Tourism and Promotion Association "in order to emphasize that Bursa is also a sea city". After diving in Gemlik Bay, in the event held at Gemlik Pier Square; Documentary Producer Tahsin Ceylan talked about the underwater riches of Bursa.

In order to raise awareness that Bursa has a coastline of 115 kilometers to the Marmara Sea, and to show the biodiversity of the Gemlik Bay and its advantages in terms of diving tourism, activities were held throughout the day on the "July 1 Maritime and Cabotage Festival". The diving event held at Sırakayalar Mevkii, which is famous for the underwater biota of the Gulf of Gemlik; Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Ahmet Yıldız, Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Ulaş Akhan, Mudanya District Governor Ayhan Terzi, Gemlik District Governor Hasan Göç, Mudanya Port President Veysel Yaşar and Documentary Producer Tahsin Ceylan. The participants, who had the opportunity to see the underwater riches of the Gemlik Bay with their eyes, listened to the underwater world of Bursa from the famous documentary producer Tahsin Ceylan in the program held in Gemlik Pier Square in the evening. Gemlik Mayor Mehmet Uğur Sertaslan and Gemlik Regional Port Manager Mustafa Asım Sulu also attended the interview program here.

The underwater documentary of Bursa, which was broadcast after the talk, was watched with interest by the participants. At the end of the program, Deputy Mayor of Metropolitan Municipality Ahmet Yıldız thanked documentary producers Tahsin Ceylan and Mehtap Akbaş by giving flowers.

Within the scope of the event; Bursa's Underwater World Photography Exhibition, which was opened in Gemlik Pier Square, attracted great attention from the people of Gemlik.
