Bursa Model Factory (BMF), brought to the city by the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO) with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, provides companies with an increase in quality and efficiency with lean production processes, while guiding the digital transformation of companies. The 'Model Factory Trainer Training Program' was organized at BMF, which was designed as a real factory environment with production development models.

Under the leadership of BTSO, the Model Factory Trainer Training Program carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Technology, TÜBİTAK TÜSSIDE and UNDP Turkey, Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) Laboratories Group Head Dr. Güvenir Kaan Esen, Gürsu Municipality R&D Manager Hüseyin Özmen, TÜBİTAK/TÜSSIDE managers, academics, private sector and business world representatives.

INTENSIVE PARTICIPATION IN TRAININGS

In the 2-day training organized, the candidates, whose learn-return roadmap was transferred, also included 19 modules in the field of 'Lean Manufacturing Techniques'; 'Standardisation', 'Work Study' and 'Kaizen' modules were given theoretically and practically. Academicians from Balıkesir, Yalova, İzmit, Sakarya, Bursa Uludağ, Bandırma 17 Eylül, Boğaziçi and İstanbul Universities showed great interest in education.

TRAINING 2022 EMPLOYEES IN 600

BMF Director Birol Aksel stated that the business model of Bursa Model Factory, which was realized with the vision of BTSO, made significant contributions to the strategies of today and the future, and said, “Many practical and theoretical trainings are held in Bursa Model Factory. As Bursa Model Factory, we are very happy to host the 'Model Factory Trainer Training Program'. In 2022, we provided awareness and learn-return training to 600 employees. In the Model Factory Trainer Training Program, academics and business representatives from different cities of Turkey were given both theoretical and practical training on lean production techniques, work study, kaizen and standardization. These trainings will continue without slowing down.” said.
