First Phase of Antakya Altınözü Divided Road Project Completed on 1 December

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure stated that the 13,8-kilometer divided road between Antakya and Altınözü will provide fast, comfortable and safe travel opportunities and announced that the first stage of the road is planned to be completed on 1 December. The Ministry underlined that the project work between Antakya and Enek, which constitutes the second phase of the road, continues.

In the written statement made by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, it was stated that the works of the General Directorate of Highways continue in Hatay as well as in all of Turkey. It has been stated that a two-stage project continues between Antakya and Altınözü and a 13,8 kilometer long divided road has been built. In the statement called "10,8 kilometers of the project has been completed", it was noted that the work in the remaining 3 kilometers continued without slowing down. In the statement, it was stated that the project work between Antakya and Enek, which constitutes the second stage of the road, continues.

In the statement, which is reported to be aimed at completing the entire work in the first phase on December 1, the statement said, “With the increase in traffic density in Hatay's Altınözü district, the existing road in the region where agricultural traffic is intense; It was decided to turn it into a divided road. Thus, the security of life and property will increase and the agricultural potential in the region will be brought into the economy. The other road works we have done in our Hatay region will continue," it said.
