Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu announced that they will open the entire Bilecik-Yenişehir Road as a divided road by the end of 2022. Noting that an investment of 22 billion 547 million lira has been made for Bilecik's transportation and access investments, Karaismailoğlu also stated that 26 percent physical progress has been achieved in the infrastructure works of the T75 Tunnel, located on the Ankara-Istanbul YHT line. During his visit to Bilecik, Karaismailoğlu said that with the completion of the Doğançay Ripaj-1 section, the travel time on the Ankara-Istanbul YHT Line will be shortened by 11 minutes, and the time will be reduced by 35 minutes when all the works are completed.

Transport and Infrastructure Minister Adil Karaismailoğlu received information about the works at the Yenişehir-Bilecik-Osmaneli Road Construction Site within the scope of his Bilecik visit. Making a statement later, Karaismailoğlu said that after the opening of Bilecik Entrance Köprülü Junction, they examined the works at the Yenişehir-Bilecik-Osmaneli Road construction site on site.

Noting that the highway projects have taken the largest share with a rate of 20 percent in the investments made in the last 65 years, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu said that they have increased the length of the divided road by 4,5 times to 28 thousand 664 kilometers with the highway works throughout the country, and reached 2 thousand 3 kilometers by doubling the highway length. told. “We have increased our tunnels by 633 times and exceeded 13 kilometers. We crossed the impenetrable mountains with tunnels and deep valleys with bridges and viaducts; We have increased the length of the bridge and viaduct 650 times,” Karaismailoğlu said, adding that Turkey's target and road maps were determined and the 2,5 Transport and Logistics Master Plan was prepared.

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Karaismailoğlu said, “In our plans; In our divided road network, which we will increase from 28 thousand kilometers to over 38 thousand kilometers; We will further reduce accident rates with fast and safe road infrastructure equipped with smart and autonomous technologies. We will establish an electric charging infrastructure according to the travel plans. We will increase the use of electric and alternative energy instead of fossil fuels on highways.

WE INCREASED THE LENGTH OF BİLECİK'S DIVERSE ROAD 7 TIMES

Karaismailoğlu stated that approximately 2022 billion 22 million liras have been invested for Bilecik's transportation and access investments, according to the figures of 547, and that Bilecik's divided road length has been increased from 7 kilometers to 21 kilometers by 171 times during the AK Party governments. Karaismailoğlu stated that they connected Bilecik to Bolu, Sakarya, Eskişehir and Kütahya with divided roads, and said, “While the bituminous hot-coated asphalt road length was only 2003 kilometers in 16, we increased the road length in this standard more than 13 times to 225 kilometers. In the last 20 years, we have built and improved 135 kilometers of single roads in this beautiful city. We have completed 6 double tube tunnels with a total length of 524 thousand 2 meters. We have put at your service 3 bridges with a total length of 480 meters. Today, the total project cost of our 86 highway projects, which continue throughout the province of Bilecik, reaches 5 million liras.

On the other hand, Karaismailoğlu stated that a mobilization is being carried out for the investment and improvement of the railway in Bilecik, our city of 'foundation and liberation' at the crossing point of the Marmara, Black Sea, Aegean and Central Anatolia regions. He said that they have carried out a 96-kilometer road renewal.

Karaismailoğlu underlined that the construction works on the route are continuing rapidly in order to operate at 250 kilometers per hour in the entire Alifuatpaşa-Arifiye section of the Ankara-Eskişehir-Bilecik-Istanbul YHT Line and to carry out freight transportation on the existing conventional line between Alifuatpaşa-Arifiye. Infrastructure work of the T26 Tunnel continues. We achieved 75 percent physical progress in the project. We will complete it at the beginning of 2024. With the completion of the Doğançay Ripaj-1 section, the travel time on the Ankara-Istanbul YHT Line will be shortened by 11 minutes. We have achieved 2% physical progress in infrastructure works in the 28nd section of Doğançay Ripaj. After the completion of the works in all sections, the shortening of the travel time on the Ankara-Istanbul YHT Line will increase to 35 minutes. There is a 140-kilometer railway network within the borders of Bilecik, including 165 kilometers of High Speed ​​​​Train and 305 kilometers of conventional lines. Our Bandırma-Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli High Speed ​​​​Railway Project, which is another railway construction work in Bilecik… Our work continues in two sections as Bursa-Yenişehir and Bandırma-Bursa. Within the scope of the remaining works in the project; Bursa-Yenişehir-Osmaneli superstructure and electrification, as well as infrastructure works of Yenişehir-Osmaneli section will be carried out. We will complete the entire project at the end of 2024 and put it into service.”

Referring to other investments made in Bilecik, Minister of Transport Karaismailoğlu stated that 1,9 million tons of transportation capacity will be provided with Bilecik Bozüyük Logistics Center. Pointing out that 654 thousand square meters of logistics space will be added to Turkey, Karaismailoğlu said, “In Bilecik, which was not a high-speed internet user 20 years ago, nearly 220 thousand subscribers are currently receiving this service. In order to reach this figure, we increased the fiber optic cable length in the communication infrastructure to 1941 kilometers.”

Karaismailoğlu said, “The Yenişehir-Bilecik-Osmaneli divided and bituminous hot-paved road project, which we conducted site inspection, is the section of the 40-kilometer Yenişehir-Bilecik State Highway, which we carry out throughout the province of Bilecik,” Karaismailoğlu said. So far, we have completed 16,1 kilometers of it in the divided road standard and put it into service. In the project this year; We will complete the 6,1 kilometer BSK divided road and its remaining parts. Until the end of 2,5, we will open the entire Bilecik Yenişehir road as a divided road. For the reconstruction of our country, we continue our work in all transportation modes. We are establishing an integrated transportation system between communication, land, air, rail and sea routes. We are establishing a fast, efficient and economical transportation network between all transportation systems. We continue to work hard on a 2022/7 basis. For Turkey, what we can do is less.
