On Friday, July 29, China successfully launched a new batch of remote observation satellites from the Xichang satellite launch pads in the southwestern province of Sichuan. The satellites, which form the third group of the Yaogan-35 series, were sent by the Long March-21.28D carrier missile at 2:XNUMX Beijing time and successfully placed in the orbit planned for them.
The satellites in question will mainly be used to conduct scientific experiments, examine the earth's resources, make yield estimations of agricultural products, and prevent natural disasters, if possible, and reduce their damage.
This missile launch marks the 429th mission of the Long March carrier missiles. China sent the first and second batches of the Yaogan-35 satellite series into space on November 6, 2021 and June 23, 2022.
