As a result of the initiatives of Diyarbakır Chamber of Commerce and Industry, VFS Global and Gateway company, which opened an office in the Diyarbakır Industry School building in 2020, but suspended its activities due to the pandemic, will begin to receive visa applications in Diyarbakır as of July 25, 2022.
The Diyarbakir Visa Application Center of VFS Global and Gateway, which has been providing visa services to 10 countries in Turkey for 29 years, will provide services to all of the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolian Regions. Visa documents of applicants coming from Diyarbakır and surrounding cities will be pre-checked on behalf of the consulates, biometrics and data transactions will be carried out and delivered to the Consulates and/or Embassies safely.
Visa applications for 10 different Schengen countries will be accepted at the first stage at the Visa Application Center. All of the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia Region provinces will be able to receive service from this office. With this new service offered specifically for the Southeastern Anatolia Region, thanks to its biometric processing device and experienced personnel, it will provide better service and time and cost advantages due to transportation to those who want to apply for a visa.
From now on, there will be no need to go to cities such as Ankara and Istanbul for visas, and visa procedures can be made from Diyarbakır, the center of the region.
Services will be provided by VFS Global and Gateway company on behalf of Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Luxembourg, Malta, Slovenia and Ukraine.
